In this episode, Cierra interviews Dr. Brittany Woodard-Hampton to discuss her knowledge and experience with acupuncture. Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It is a system of integrative medicine that involves pricking the skin or tissues with needles, used to alleviate pain and treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions. 

Dr. Brittany Woodard-Hampton is a native of Atlanta, GA. She received her Bachelors of Science from Tennessee State University, where she studied both Communications and Psychology. As an undergraduate, she became a Reiki Master. She is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California where she obtained a Doctorate in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. She is also a certified Holistic Nutritionist. Brittany specializes in pain management, rheumatoid arthritis, as well as anxiety and depression. She incorporates acupuncture with eastern herbal medicine and both eastern and western nutrition to create a complete and unique healing system for her patients.
