In the United States, approximately 12 million people 40 years and over have a vision impairment, including blindness, vision impairment after correction, and impairment due to uncorrected refractive error. Dr. Brown is an optometrist in Atlanta, Georgia and is the entrepreneur behind Eye Candy Accessories and Eyewear LLC, a company that offers customers a variety of the latest eyewear and eye-inspired jewelry. An alumnus of Xavier University of Louisiana, Dr. Brown will chat with us about the importance of seeing an optometrist regularly, things you can do in your everyday life to protect your eyes, and so much more.
